Tonmind SIP-T30 Network I/O Relay Module Solution
Smart Integration for Security, Audio & Automation Systems

1. Challenges & Problems

In modern security, monitoring, and building automation systems, users often face a common headache: many different alarm devices and equipment work separately, and cannot be managed in one unified system.

Emergency buttons, temperature detectors, gas sensors, CCTV cameras, speakers, and access control devices are isolated from each other. It is difficult to collect all alarm status centrally, and hard to make these devices cooperate automatically. As a result, event detection is delayed, and emergency response is slow. Users need an all-in-one device to connect, unify, control, and manage all this equipment easily.

2. Product Introduction

The Tonmind Network I/O Relay Module SIP-T30 is a powerful and integrated network controller designed to solve these problems. It combines signal input, remote control, audio intercom, broadcasting, and network communication into one stable unit.

It provides 16 GPIO input ports to receive signals from emergency buttons, temperature sensors, gas detectors, and other alarm devices.

It provides 8 relay output ports to send remote control commands to drive alarms, door locks, parking barriers, lights, and other equipment.

It supports MIC input, Headset output, and Speaker output for real-time voice broadcast and two-way intercom.

It has a DC Output port that can directly supply power to small external sensors and modules.

It supports both PoE and DC 12V power input for flexible and easy installation.

The SIP-T30 supports rich network protocols:

SIP, ONVIF, HTTP, HTTPS, IPv4, TLS, RTSP, RTP, RTCP, DHCP, DNS, NTP, TCP, UDP, IGMP, ICMP, ARP.

SIP protocol allows the module to connect with SIP servers and IP PBX systems. Alarms and events can be sent to the server, and IP phones can send control commands or make live broadcast calls through the T30.

ONVIF protocol makes the module fully compatible with CCTV systems. It connects alarm devices, IP cameras, VMS, and NVR together, so users can check device status, send control instructions, and respond to events in one unified platform.

All configurations can be set easily through a user-friendly web management interface.

3. Typical Application Scenarios

Application Scenario 1 – Emergency Alarm Integration

An emergency button can be connected to the GPIO Input of the SIP-T30 through a wired connection. Once the button is pressed, the T30 sends the alarm event through the network to the VMS or CCTV monitoring system using the ONVIF protocol.

This allows operators in the monitoring center to receive alarm notifications immediately and quickly check related camera feeds for faster emergency response.

Workflow:

Emergency Button → GPIO Input → SIP-T30 → Network → VMS / CCTV System

Application Scenario 2 – Video Analytics Trigger Security Alarm

An IP camera can detect emergency events such as a person falling, dangerous behavior, or intrusion through video analytics. After detection, the camera sends the event to the SIP-T30 through the network.

The T30 can then activate external alarm devices through Relay Outputs, such as flashing warning lights, sirens, or speakers, to notify security staff and monitoring personnel.

Workflow:

IP Camera → Network → SIP-T30 → Relay Output → Alarm Device

This creates an active security response system that combines video analytics with real-time alarm linkage.

Application Scenario 3 – Environmental Monitoring & Notification

Environmental sensors such as temperature detectors or gas detectors can be connected to the GPIO Inputs of the SIP-T30. When abnormal conditions are detected, the T30 uploads alarm information to the monitoring system through the network.

This allows users to receive real-time monitoring notifications and quickly respond to environmental risks.

Workflow:

Temperature / Gas Sensor → GPIO Input → SIP-T30 → Network → Monitoring System

This solution is suitable for server rooms, factories, warehouses, and equipment monitoring environments.

Application Scenario 4 – Parking & Access Control Integration

An IP camera with license plate recognition can send vehicle detection events to the SIP-T30 through the network. The T30 can then control connected door locks or parking barriers through Relay Outputs.

When an authorized vehicle is detected, the parking gate or entrance barrier opens automatically.

Workflow:

IP Camera → Network → SIP-T30 → Relay Output → Parking Barrier / Door Lock

This solution is ideal for smart parking systems and vehicle access management applications.

Application Scenario 5 – Audio Broadcasting & Two-Way Intercom

Analog speakers and microphones can be connected directly to the SIP-T30 through the Speaker and MIC interfaces. Through SIP Server, VMS, or CCTV systems, operators can use the T30 for live broadcasting, emergency announcements, and two-way intercom communication.

The monitoring center can remotely speak through connected speakers to provide instructions, warnings, or emergency notifications in real time.

Workflow:

Speaker / Microphone → SIP-T30 → Network → SIP Server / VMS / CCTV System

This makes the SIP-T30 a flexible solution for combining security monitoring and IP audio communication.

Application Scenario 6 – RS485 Modbus Device Control

The SIP-T30 supports RS485 communication with Modbus protocol, allowing control systems, PLC platforms, or automation systems to connect directly with the device.

Through Modbus commands, users can remotely control Relay 1–8 ON/OFF status and monitor IO 1–16 input status. This makes the T30 suitable for industrial automation and smart building integration projects.

Conclusion

The Tonmind Network I/O Relay Module SIP-T30 is more than just a relay controller. It is a smart integration device that helps connect alarm systems, CCTV systems, audio systems, environmental sensors, and automation platforms into one unified network.

By combining GPIO alarm integration, relay control, SIP communication, ONVIF CCTV integration, RS485 Modbus support, audio broadcasting, and two-way intercom functions, the SIP-T30 helps users build smarter, faster, and more efficient security and automation systems.

It is an ideal solution for smart buildings, CCTV projects, industrial automation, IP PA systems, parking management, access control, and remote monitoring applications.
